Have any of you been there? Is it worth the trip?

Short answer is...YES!

I lived in Indonesia for a number of years, and Bali is a great place. We used to go for our fancy beach holidays (the not so fancy beach holidays were spent at Pelabuhan Ratu on Java).

have you been to Jakarta? I am putting together a wish list, I don't know how feasible it is or if it will ever happen, but a sort of bucket list of travel, and I kind of want to put it on my list, but I am not sure.
