E-7 Results?

DH is out to sea and I haven't heard anything, anyone know if they're out yet?

The Chief results haven't been released as far as I know. I don't know about E7 for any other branch, but the chief results aren't out.

On the MCPON's Facebook page, his Executive Assistant (another Master Chief) said that they are expecting the results to come out around 13 August. There is a message that was sent that said that Induction would be four and a half weeks. Pinning is almost always 16 September (unless something happens that requires them to adjust the schedule).

Wow. 4 1/2 week induction. That is such a short time. Guess we won't have much fundraising time this year. This weekend last year is when DH found out he made it. And he was pinned Sept. 16. From what I've read it is tradition to be pinned that day. Good luck to your DH.

DB is up for e7 and waiting on results. I think they come out around aug. 6th is what he was told. He's been as nervous as a long tailed cat in a room full of rockers. I can't wait till they come out so he will be in a more pleasant mood.

Results wont be out till late because the board did not conevene till late due to the flooding in Millington TN.

They are almost always released around (early) July.

DB don't like going to the balls anymore. Most of his buddies are stationed elsewhere and he don't go to them cause he says they aren't fun without his friends. I mean, I can be a hoot when I'm out. I would like to go to one just to see what they are like, I've never been.

The Khaki Ball when your a Boot Chief is well...you have to go LOL.

After that they can be fun if there is a good group of CPOs to hang with.

My husband was a Boot Chief last year. The Kahki ball was a blast for us. There were so many moments that I wish I could have stopped time and just taken everything in. We will be going again this year (as long as my husband is not on det).

Good luck to all of those waiting on the results. Take a deep breath and relax. Induction starts the instant the results are out. Induction stressful not only on the Selectee but also on the Family.

Well...if he puts on Chief this yr. he pretty much is required to go to the K-Ball. So....I will be expecting pictures!

If the boat is here, we will be going but their schedule is up in the air right now.

Last year was bad enough with the fundraising cause it rained so much. Several of the events got rained out. So, with 4 1/2 weeks to work with, I can only imagine what this year will be like.

The Khaki Ball is sooo much fun. We had an awesome time last year. We got a hotel room where the Ball was being held. When the Ball was wrapping up some of us were still ready to go so we got taxis to a karaoke bar. We walked down to where appetizers were being handed out and pics were taken around 6pm. and we didn't wrap up the night at the bar til almost 2am. Course it took forever for the taxi to get there so some us hung outside the bar while we waited. By the time we got back to the hotel it was around 3. I cannot wait for this year's!!!
