Car questions

Wasn't sure where to put this. So i am finally going to get a car. Just a quick question. Would you buy a car that had 4-5 owners since 2007? It's a certified pre-owned. I decided not to buy a brand new car, even though i want one, I rather put the extra money into savings. But anyways when buying a car is the number of owners a important factor?

Absolutely not. We have always bought ours with one previous owner.

I did that with my last cars. But i like this car so I'm wondering if its worth it.

I know. I thought so too. It's a good reliable car, just worried there is somekind of reason why no one kept it very long.

My car has had two previous owners (2005) and our other car has just had one (2009)

It can be, if the car has been wrecked or poorly maintained. What's most important is: year model, milage, life left on warranty (and is it transferable), expected gas milage, maintenance history. If it's used, ask if it's been wrecked. You should also have utilized a resource to tell you what a fair price for the used vehicle is. I prefer owning new cars because I like being under warranty, but if I were to buy used it would have to be low miles and one which has not been wrecked before. I would also want to know the vehicles maintenance history.

I too prefer new vehicles because we are very strict on our maintenance of our vehicles and you never know how the person before you maintained the vehicle. It's also nice to have the warranty and one thing I love about my VW is all of my maintenance is covered for the first 30,000 miles!

I would not purchase a vehicle that new with that many owners though and I would also do a carfax check as well to make sure it hasn't been in any wrecks or anything similar.

I already bought a car. It had only one previous owner. No accidents. I couldn't afford a new car.
