Default Help!

Ever since we moved to Massachusetts my dogs have had horrible smelling breath. We have not changed their diet, they get the same food, same treats, etc ... The only thing that has changed is the water.

Our neighbor also said that her dog has really bad breath, could it be something with our water and if so is there anything I can do besides spending a fortune on bottled water which we really cannot afford right now.

It is driving me crazy. They are exceptionally healthy dogs and this started about a week after we moved into our new place.

TIA!!

I thought about that, I have small pitcher that has a filter on it and I have used it some but I can never tell a difference I may just need a better filter.

Distilled water in target brand is only 89 cents a gallon if that doesn't work. It may not be the water at all your pets may need dentals and for whatever reason it started smelling now.

If they have a checkup soon I'd see if they need a cleaning. Do you brush their teeth? It makes a big difference with the Border Terriers.

Yeah then I don't think that's it unless they are old 7+ years and have heart, kidney or liver problems. Then bad breath is common. I would change the water out or add breathalyser to the water.

I am also going to ask around for a good vet and take them in for a check up just to be safe!
