Alrighty then, we are now on the skinniest ring. I just cleaned the bathroom and put the ring in. I'm not sure how much he's going to like this step. There is very little litter and almost no lip so any time he plays with the litter it will ALL go into the toilet. I put some into a container to make it easier to pour into the little ring. I'll let you all know in the morning if he used it!

The first pic he is looking into the toilet, he loves watching it when I flush

Since we switched to the smaller ring, he has pooed on the floor twice, but pees in the toilet. I don't think he likes the splashing. Tomorrow I am going to go back a step to the thicker ring, smaller hole and see if he likes that better.

You will notice I haven't updated in a while. Well, Maxwell decided that he will not use the toilet if it is clean. Weird, I know. He has taken to pooing in dh's office and then we put the poo in the toilet and he'll use the toilet until we clean it. It's hard to stop him bc he poos really early in the morning while we are both still sleeping. We've decided to shut all doors at night so he can only get into the livingroom/kitchen/bathroom. All bedroom doors are shut. He only poos in the rooms he never uses (office, the bar at our old house ).

Therefore, we are staying at this step for as long as it takes for him to use the toilet for at least a week, even if the toilet is clean!
